1. The service
Prompt X-Ray provides a browser-based utility for inspecting prompt text, estimated tokens, Unicode characters, encoded content, and selected security indicators. Features may change as the website develops.
2. Acceptable use
You may use the service for lawful security review, development, education, research, and prompt hygiene. You must not use it to violate law, infringe rights, distribute harmful content, interfere with the service, evade security controls, or target people or systems without permission.
3. Your content and responsibilities
You remain responsible for the prompts and other content you enter, including ensuring that you have the right to process it in your browser and that it does not contain information you are not authorised to handle. The website does not claim ownership of your prompt content.
4. Security-tool limitations
Results are informational security-assistance output. The scanner uses local heuristics and estimates and does not guarantee that it will identify every suspicious character, encoding method, prompt injection, ASCII smuggling technique, Unicode attack, social-engineering attempt, or other security issue. It does not provide complete protection and is not a substitute for professional cybersecurity advice or testing.
5. Intellectual property
The Prompt X-Ray website, branding, original interface, and supporting software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws unless stated otherwise. You may not copy, scrape, repackage, or commercially exploit the site in a way that violates applicable rights.
6. Availability and third parties
The site may be unavailable, interrupted, changed, or discontinued without notice. Hosting, security, analytics, consent-management, and advertising providers may support the website where configured. Third-party services are subject to their own terms and policies.
7. Advertising
Advertising space may be made available in the future. Advertisements will be kept separate from scanner findings and controls. Prompt X-Ray does not endorse every third-party advertisement and does not permit artificial clicks, impressions, or invalid traffic.
8. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis without guarantees about accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or complete security coverage. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that restriction, the website operator is not responsible for decisions, losses, or security outcomes arising from reliance on scan results or service interruptions.
9. Changes
The website and these Terms & Conditions may change as features, providers, or legal requirements change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
Questions about these terms may be sent to [email protected].
10. Governing law
The governing law and courts for these terms are currently to be confirmed because the website’s legal entity and jurisdiction have not been established. Any final jurisdiction statement will be added before the service is operated under a confirmed legal identity.
